Jam Coding is one of the largest providers of Computing Education in the UK. Our mission is to deliver life skills to the next generation of digital citizens. Digital skills are more than being able to code and use a computer. They extend to safe usage, the digital opportunity and digital resilience. We believe that young people should be educated in all these digital skills. Learners graduate from our workshops knowing the importance of coding and digital skills. They learn what they can achieve through coding and computing. Just as importantly, they have fun and make friends along the way…

Breaking down barriers and providing children with an inclusive Digital Education
Teaching a wide range of Digital Skills. There's never a dull day at Jam Coding!
Jam Coding was established in Blackburn, Lancashire in 2014, to provide primary schools across the region with innovative computing programmes and initiatives. In line with the latest technological advancements, we have updated, improved and refined our workshops and delivery model to what it is today.
A lot has changed since we first put on our capes, but some things remain the same. We believe that digital skills are life skills, and that every child deserves the chance to unlock their innate, unlimited capacity to learn.
We’re very proud to be from up norf’ but in 2019 we decided to branch out. We truly believe in what we do and we want all children to benefit from a proper digital education.
Fast forward just a few short years and you can now find Jam Coding workshops in most regions across the UK.
As Jam Coding continues to grow our core objective remains the same; to reach as many young people as possible! We teach children from a multitude of backgrounds with our After School Clubs, Holiday Clubs, Pupil Premium funded places and Curriculum services.
As we move forward we are launching a set of initiatives to help school teaching staff and community groups deliver sessions using our specifically designed learning management system. This will have a significant impact on the computing education landscape as it allows teachers to be up-skilled whilst providing the fun and engaging experience children have come to expect from us. We aspire to bring Jam Coding to every school in the UK… and maybe even beyond!
I would highly recommend the Jam Coding workshops. My daughter (age 7) has recently completed a course at Euxton Primrose Hill and she thoroughly enjoyed it - so much so that she was disappointed when I told her the last session was last Monday. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. 5 stars from me 😊
